What is a downlighter?
A downlighter is essentially a large spotlight into which a PL-C (Philips lamp) or Dulux (Osram lamp) is placed. This can be a single lamp or two.
Lifespan of 50,000 hours
The PL-C and Dulux we know only have a lifespan of 10,000 hours. So you have to replace them regularly, which costs money and time. Fortunately, there are now LED integrated downlighters! This new lighting has a lifespan of 50,000 hours. This means your lighting will last up to 5 times longer. So you won't have to worry about replacing your downlights for years to come!
